Buddhism
Buddhism is a religion in which the founder, Siddhartha Guatama, or Buddha as most would call him, believes that suffering was caused by a human desire. People who follow this religion are Buddhists. He teaches that in order to end suffering, one must accept the world as it is and block selfish desires. This religion started in Nepal, and has expanded to primarily Southeast Asia and East Asia. They believe that their is only one god and they have no holy books. Their basic beliefs are in books called sutras. Buddhism is based on philosophy of self-denial and meditation. Some Buddhists even believe in reincarnation.
