Hinduism is a old religion, just like animism. It teaches it followers that the principles of life can be obtained through meditation. Hinduism does not have a founder nor a date of origin and it understands itself to be timeless. Those who follow the tradition of Hinduism are called Hindus. Hinduism is a polytheistic religion that believes in reincarnation, the belief that at death, a person's soul is reborn.In Hinduism, some significant individuals are the three Gods: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, as well as Gandhi. Some significant dates include 17-19 century during the Hindu Renaissance. Hinduism originated in Nepal and India and has spread globally and is the third biggest religion in the world. Hinduism has no single Holy book, but it has writings like the Upanishads and Bhagavad-Gita which provide guidance and inspiration.
